Publisher Activision revealed that the game has its own “internal anti-cheat software”, and it is now enhancing its features based on player requirements.
Several high-profile streamers criticized this battle royale game as “saturated by hackers.” Media problems like this also led to the development of the game’s anti-cheat system.
More than 300,000 permanent bans had been issued since the game’s release, last March, Activision said.
“We are committed to delivering a fair and fun experience for all players,” Activision said in a blog post.
“This is a dedicated focus for our security, enforcement, and technology teams.”
